Please handle with care.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">For detailed operation instructions see Instructions booklets-<br \/>\none for fuel cell stack, and one for electrolyzer.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Connect fuel cell stack to electrolyzer as shown in above\u00a0picture.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Fill tall cylinder with distilled water up to the 0 cm mark.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Fill the water reservoir of the electrolyzer with deionized\u00a0water up to the -A- mark.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Connect the power supply, or solar cell, to the positive\u00a0and negative terminals of the electrolyzer. Current causes water to split\u00a0into oxygen and hydrogen. The oxygen escapes into the atmosphere, and the hydrogen\u00a0accumulates in the gas storage tank (tall cylinder).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">When hydrogen gas is allowed to flow into the fuel cell stack\u00a0(see fuel cell operating instructions booklet; pg 9), the voltage difference\u00a0that develops across the stack can be used to power the fan (see above picture).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Also, the voltage difference across each individual cell can be measured with\u00a0a volt meter.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">For Demo and Lab ideas see &#8220;Fuel Cell Technology for Classroom<br \/>\nInstruction&#8221; booklet.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Located in L35, section H-3. &nbsp; Very nice (and expensive) demo.
